Code of Conduct

Last Updated: April 2, 2026

This Code of Conduct sets out the standards CryptoNewsLive holds itself to as an independent crypto news platform, and the expectations placed on everyone who interacts with CryptoNewsLive across our website, social channels, and community spaces.

CryptoNewsLive publishes crypto news, blockchain news, and crypto exchange news in one of the most information-sensitive industries in the world. Digital asset markets move on headlines. Misinformation in the crypto space causes real financial harm to real people. That reality is why this Code of Conduct exists and why CryptoNewsLive takes it seriously.

These are not aspirational statements. They describe how CryptoNewsLive actually operates every day.

Editorial Standards at CryptoNewsLive

The foundation of CryptoNewsLive is accurate, independent, and responsible crypto news reporting. Every standard listed here applies to every article, every headline, and every piece of analysis published on www.cryptonewslive.org.

Accuracy and Verification

CryptoNewsLive verifies all factual claims against primary sources before publishing. Primary sources include official project announcements, on-chain data, regulatory filings, exchange statements, court documents, and direct statements from named individuals. We do not publish unverified social media rumours as confirmed crypto news. When a story is developing and full verification is not yet possible, CryptoNewsLive labels the content as developing and updates it as confirmed information becomes available.

Speed matters in crypto news. Accuracy matters more. When those two things come into conflict, CryptoNewsLive chooses accuracy.

Independence From Commercial Interests

CryptoNewsLive editorial decisions are made entirely independently of commercial relationships. Advertisers, sponsors, and promotional partners hold zero influence over which stories the CryptoNewsLive news team covers, how those stories are reported, or what conclusions the editorial team reaches.

A project can purchase advertising space on CryptoNewsLive and receive critical coverage in the same news cycle if the reporting warrants it. That is not a contradiction. That is what editorial independence actually looks like in practice.

No Paid Editorial Coverage

CryptoNewsLive does not accept payment of any kind to produce positive coverage in our independent news section. Token allocations, equity stakes, affiliate arrangements, and direct payments are all treated identically. None of them buy editorial coverage on CryptoNewsLive.

Any content produced in a commercial partnership is clearly and prominently labeled as sponsored, promoted, or paid before the reader sees any of the substance. That label is non-negotiable and appears on every piece of commercial content without exception.

Transparent Corrections Policy

CryptoNewsLive makes mistakes. Every news operation does. What matters is how those mistakes are handled.

When an error is identified in any CryptoNewsLive article, it is corrected promptly. The correction is noted within the affected article with clear language identifying what was changed and why. CryptoNewsLive does not silently edit published crypto news content without disclosure. Readers who noticed the original version deserve to know what changed.

If you identify a factual error in any CryptoNewsLive article, contact our team at [email protected] with the specific correction request. Include the article URL, the specific claim you believe is incorrect, and the source that contradicts it. We investigate all correction requests and respond to every credible one.

Clear Separation of News and Opinion

CryptoNewsLive publishes both straight news reporting and editorial analysis and commentary. These are kept clearly separate. News articles report verified facts and attributed statements. Opinion and analysis pieces are labeled as such and represent the views of the named author, not the institutional position of CryptoNewsLive.

Readers have the right to know whether they are reading a factual report or an editorial perspective. CryptoNewsLive maintains that distinction consistently.

Source Attribution

Every factual claim in a CryptoNewsLive article is attributed to its source. We link to primary documents, on-chain data, official statements, regulatory filings, and original reporting wherever the source is publicly accessible. We do not aggregate or summarise other outlets’ blockchain news without adding independent reporting value to the story.

When a source requests confidentiality, CryptoNewsLive describes the source in general terms rather than fabricating attribution or presenting unattributed claims as verified fact.

Conflicts of Interest

CryptoNewsLive team members do not hold financial positions in projects they are actively covering without full disclosure. Where a potential conflict of interest exists, it is disclosed clearly within the relevant content. CryptoNewsLive does not allow undisclosed conflicts of interest to influence crypto news coverage at any level.

Community Standards

CryptoNewsLive operates community spaces including our Telegram channel at t.me/Cryptonewslive101 and our X account at @Crypton3wslive. These spaces exist for crypto news discussion, market conversation, article sharing, and community engagement among people who follow the digital asset space.

Everyone who participates in CryptoNewsLive community spaces is expected to engage in good faith and with basic respect for other participants. The following conduct is not tolerated in any CryptoNewsLive community space under any circumstances.

Personal Attacks and Harassment

Targeted personal attacks, sustained harassment campaigns, threatening language, and intimidation directed at any individual are prohibited. This applies regardless of who the target is. Disagreement with another participant’s views is not grounds for personal attack. Challenge the argument, not the person.

Hate Speech and Discrimination

Content that degrades, threatens, or dehumanises any person based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic has no place in CryptoNewsLive community spaces. This standard applies to all participants without exception.

Misinformation and Market Manipulation

Deliberately spreading false crypto news, fabricating project announcements, posting unverified FUD designed to manipulate prices, and coordinating pump-and-dump promotion are all prohibited in CryptoNewsLive community spaces. The crypto market causes enough harm through legitimate volatility. CryptoNewsLive community spaces will not be used to add manufactured misinformation on top of it.

Spam and Unsolicited Promotion

Unsolicited project promotion, repetitive posting of unrelated content, airdrop spam, referral link flooding, and bot activity are prohibited. Participants who want to share a project they find genuinely interesting are welcome to do so once, in context, with full transparency about any financial interest they hold. Repetitive or coordinated promotional posting will result in removal.

Impersonation

Impersonating CryptoNewsLive, any CryptoNewsLive team member, any project founder, exchange representative, or any other individual in CryptoNewsLive community spaces is prohibited. This includes usernames, profile images, and messaging designed to create a false impression of identity or affiliation.

Enforcement

CryptoNewsLive moderates its community spaces actively. Violations of these community standards may result in warnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent removal from CryptoNewsLive community spaces depending on the severity and frequency of the violation. CryptoNewsLive moderators reserve the right to remove content and restrict access without advance notice where violations are clear.

Appeals can be directed to [email protected]. We review all moderation appeals and respond to good faith enquiries.

Sponsored Content Standards

CryptoNewsLive accepts sponsored articles, press releases, and promotional content from commercial partners. Every piece of sponsored content on CryptoNewsLive is subject to the following standards regardless of the commercial arrangement behind it.

All sponsored content must be accurately represent the project, product, or platform being promoted. False claims about technology capabilities, tokenomics, projected returns, regulatory status, team credentials, or any other material fact are not permitted in sponsored content on CryptoNewsLive.

All sponsored content must be clearly labeled as sponsored, promoted, or paid content before the reader encounters any substance. This label is mandatory and non-negotiable.

CryptoNewsLive does not publish sponsored content that promotes projects with known fraudulent activity, unresolved regulatory sanctions that have not been disclosed, or business models designed to harm participants.

Sponsored content published on CryptoNewsLive does not represent the editorial views of the CryptoNewsLive news team and does not constitute an endorsement of the featured project by CryptoNewsLive.

Reporting Violations

CryptoNewsLive takes reports of conduct violations, editorial errors, and community standard breaches seriously. If you observe a violation of this Code of Conduct anywhere on CryptoNewsLive or in our community spaces, report it through the following channels.

Email: [email protected] Telegram: t.me/Cryptonewslive101 Contact page: www.cryptonewslive.org/contact

Include as much detail as possible in your report. The specific content or behaviour you are reporting, where it occurred, when it occurred, and any supporting evidence you can provide. CryptoNewsLive investigates all credible reports and takes appropriate action.

We do not publicly disclose the outcomes of individual conduct investigations but we do act on every credible report we receive.

Why This Code of Conduct Matters

The crypto industry is still young. Trust infrastructure that traditional media built over decades does not exist automatically in crypto news. It has to be built deliberately, maintained consistently, and defended when it comes under pressure.

CryptoNewsLive exists in a space where bad actors actively try to use media platforms to manipulate markets, promote fraudulent projects, and mislead retail participants who are making real financial decisions based on what they read. This Code of Conduct is part of how CryptoNewsLive resists that pressure and maintains the editorial credibility that makes our crypto news worth reading in the first place.

Readers who trust CryptoNewsLive trust us because we hold ourselves accountable. This document is that accountability made explicit.

Updates to This Code of Conduct

CryptoNewsLive reviews and updates this Code of Conduct periodically to reflect changes in our operations, community growth, and the evolving standards of responsible crypto news journalism. Updated versions are posted at www.cryptonewslive.org/code-of-conduct with a revised date.

Significant changes will be communicated through our newsletter and social channels.

For questions about this Code of Conduct or how it applies in a specific situation, contact the CryptoNewsLive team at [email protected].
