Binance.US is taking its wallet infrastructure offline Thursday morning. The exchange confirmed that crypto deposits and withdrawals will go dark starting at 2:30 a.m. EST on March 19, 2026, as part of a scheduled wallet maintenance window.
The shutdown affects every asset and every network on the platform. Not a select few coins. All of them.
As BinanceUS posted on X, the outage is expected to run about 30 minutes, though the exchange noted the timeline is an estimate and may shift. Deposits and withdrawals will come back online once the maintenance window closes.
Your Funds Are at Risk if You Send During Downtime
Here is the part that matters most. The suspension actually kicks in five minutes before the official 2:30 a.m. start time, putting the real cutoff at roughly 2:25 a.m. EST. Any deposit sent on or after that point will not be credited to the account.
That is not a processing delay. Those funds will be lost.
According to the official Binance.US support page, deposits in progress when maintenance begins also fall under the same risk. The warning is clear: do not send crypto to Binance.US between approximately 2:25 a.m. and the time the platform confirms the window has closed.
The Binance.US website, mobile app on both App Store and Google Play, and the full API suite at docs.binance.us are all affected.
What Still Works During the Window
Trading does not stop. Buy and Sell, Convert, OTC, and Advanced Spot Trading stay fully operational throughout the maintenance period. Only the deposit and withdrawal layer goes offline.
According to BinanceUS on X, the exchange is asking users to check the official Binance.US status page for real-time updates as the maintenance progresses. That page is the most reliable indicator of when services return.
The 30-minute estimate is exactly that, an estimate. The exchange made clear the timeline is subject to change.
