Janction’s JCT token rose 320% in under four hours on Sunday, from 0.00354 at 09:00 UTC to 0.01489 at about 12:30 UTC on Binance’s perpetual futures contract, while posts on X pointed to a Janction Binance listing due on 10 November.
Binance did announce one for that date, but in 2025. “Binance is excited to announce that Janction (JCT) will open for trading on Binance Alpha starting 2025-11-10 10:00 (UTC),” the notice reads. It was published on 8 November 2025.
The Janction Binance listing already happened
The same notice said Binance Futures would launch the JCTUSDT perpetual contract, a derivative that follows the token’s price and has no expiry date, at 10:30 UTC that day with leverage of up to 40 times. Binance’s exchange data gives the contract’s start as 10 November 2025, and the Alpha page showed JCT trading at 16:16 UTC on Sunday.

Searching Binance’s support centre for Janction on Sunday returned four notices: that announcement, a trading competition announced on 26 November 2025, another on 26 February 2026 and a third on 22 April 2026. None is newer. One X post at 11:23 UTC, from the account @PolandJasmy, said a Binance Alpha and Futures launch was “reportedly expected on November 10”. Another, from @ChinaPumpCN on 6 November, said JCT was “scheduled to list” on Alpha on 10 November and credited a crypto calendar. Binance has published no new Janction Binance listing, so a buyer who acted on those posts paid for something that is a year old.
The project has said nothing on the subject either. JANCTION Global’s feed shows posts on 4, 5 and 6 November about JANCTION Render, a cloud GPU service for Blender that AI agents can call, and none since, as of Sunday afternoon. The latest reads: “Previews now come back, even for heavy scenes.”

What the 4 hours looked like
JCT closed Saturday at 0.00283. Hourly volume on the Binance contract was $16 million at 08:00 UTC, $40 million at 09:00 and $89 million at 10:00, then $205.6 million at 11:00 and $226 million at 12:00. By 16:30 UTC the contract had traded $1.05 billion on the day, about ten times its median daily volume of $105 million over the previous 30 days. The price was near 0.0100, up 257% from Saturday’s close.

Funding showed who was paying for the move. Funding is the periodic payment between traders that keeps a perpetual contract close to the token’s price, and a positive rate means people betting on a rise pay those betting on a fall. JCT’s rate is normally 0.005% per four-hour settlement. At 12:00 UTC it was 0.354%, about 70 times that, which meant a $10,000 long position paid $35.40 for the period. At 16:00 UTC it was 0.232%. Open interest, the dollar value of contracts still open, rose from $12.6 million at 08:00 UTC to $64.8 million at 13:00 UTC, then fell to $46.2 million by 16:00 UTC as positions closed.

Supply, and the levels the chart gives
Tokenomist, which tracks token release schedules, shows 11.5 billion of 50 billion JCT in circulation, or 22.99%. The founder and team allocation of 12.5 billion tokens and the private investor allocation of 5 billion are both listed at 0% released. The fully diluted value is $510.8 million against a market value of $119.1 million. Tokenomist lists no scheduled unlock event, only linear releases that came to about 1.14 billion tokens over the past 30 days.
On the four-hour chart the day began with a dip to 0.002512 at 04:00 UTC, under Saturday’s low of 0.002552. Price then climbed past 0.003994, the 6 November high, past 0.00726 from 5 November and past 0.00916 from 28 October, before the 12:00 UTC candle reversed from 0.01489 to close at 0.009792.

Two one-hour closes decide the next step. A one-hour candle that finishes below 0.00916 would point to 0.00726, and that case is cancelled if price closes back above 0.0092. A close above 0.01489 would set a new high. Price touched 0.00870 at 15:15 UTC and recovered, so the 0.00916 line has been tested once already. When 10 November comes, the Janction Binance listing date in those posts will pass with the contract and the Alpha market already open.
